All right, after some discussion and deliberation, I've come up with decent range of contenders to pop my challenge cherry. I'm listing my own personal pros/cons for each, and there's a poll on the bottom of the page where you can cast your vote. Let's get interactive! Here they are:

Shiny New Thing
The Idea:
One-Month
SlackMaster is an idea I've been playing with for the past year or
so. It comes from the basic questions I asked, “What do I
want to do?”, “What am I good at?”. There wasn't any particular standout, except for maybe making a spectacular ass of myself. Wouldn't it be
nice to discover your hidden talents? That thinking is what brings me
here, along with the one skill I did manage to come up with for
myself: a penchant for slackery. While I'm of a mind that anything
worth doing is worth doing well, I'm also a big fan of putting out
minimum effort for maximum results. This is my lazy love affair with
loosening loads. So! What I propose is an undertaking of a monthly
challenge. A four week fiasco where I attempt to master (a term I'll
be using liberally!) a random skill, or reach some sort of goal. I
intend to invest a good deal of research, time, effort, and probably
money into these 'projects'. Going to be recording the progress, and at
the end of the month I'm hoping to have some informative and
entertaining results, whether I nailed it or failed it. Really
though, it's just an excuse to make sweet montages set to
inspirational 80's pop rock.
I Want You:
Starting November, I'd like to get this
train a rollin'! I'm not looking to make a big splash with it, but
it's a concept that I want to grow and evolve over time, as life
permits. The biggest factor involved in documenting this is you, sitting there sipping your coffee, resisting your responsibilities. So
what do YOU wanna see? If I'm keeping a record, I need an audience,
and one who's interested. My maiden voyage awaits. Arts, athletics,
lifestyle, cup-stacking, you name it. Make it profound, make it
bizarre, make it challenging. Maybe you're just selfish and want help
with some stupid project of yours. If it fits, I'm all ears. If you
like this even a tiny little bit, I'd love to hear your ideas, even
if it's just related to delivery and format. Help me make this
something you'd like!
