Photography - Week 2 (and a bit) - Say Cheese!

As per the usual, the title of the website is unfortunately appropriate - I'm late on the updates. The good news: I've got some new photos for you kiddies! Work's been on the busier side the past week, and I've only really had time to do one shoot, but I've also been doing some networking (if you can call it that), making a few connections, getting some feedback, and learning learning learning.

Photography - Week 1 - Progress

By last Thursday, progress was looking pretty abysmal, I'd played around with the camera a bit, watched a few online tutorials - I understood the basics of the camera I was working with. I was really having a hard time getting motivated because, well, I just wasn't good at photography. One of the hardest parts of getting good, or even 'not bad' at something is being bad at it. That 90 degree incline you have to climb before you see any results. A huge quantity of people will try something they might like and, without giving themselves an opportunity to get a glimpse of what not sucking at it is like, they'll dismiss it before they get any momentum. Well get those wheels rolling, kid!

Photography - Week 0 - This is (NOT) a Cat Blog

To nobody's surprise, I'm a tad belated on the results of the votation (if made up words make you cringe, turn back now, friend). Due to some outside sources and that the poll of my prior post is a filthy filthy liar as outdated as I am, coincidentally; the result is that I'm going to be taking pictures of things. No, not those things (well maybe), but you know, probably people and objects and landscapes and cats. Okay, definitely cats, but more on that in a bit.
